DECEMBER 12th meeting at Methodist CHURCH HALL!

See you there 7.30pm.

Holmfirth WI welcomes women of all ages and backgrounds to learn, make, create, do, campaign, meet, make friends, network and of course drink tea and eat cake! We are a diverse growing group of enthusiastic women of all ages and walks of life, from the Holme Valley, who come together to take part in activities, meetings, workshops, WI campaigns, fundraising and strengthening our community.

You are welcome to visit us!  Please contact us beforehand to check the details and venue of the meeting.  We usually meet at Holmfirth Methodist Church or sometimes Holmfirth Civic Hall – always on the second Tuesday of every month from 7.30PM to 9.30PM.

Please see the Calendar for full details of our latest meetings and the times and venues for all our additional activities.

You don’t have to join straight away as you can attend as a guest to see if we’re the group for you. We make a small charge for guests.

Holmfirth WI is not just about our monthly meetings as we have extra activities that take place such as local walks, archery, theatre trips, woodturning and supper clubs. You can sign up to any of the activities at our monthly meetings. Plus we’re not always exclusively female, as we open up some of these events to children, partners, family and friends.

We also have several subgroups.  Some meet regularly such as the book club, knitting and crochet group and the craft group.  These subgroups are great for getting to know other members in a more social environment.
