AGM 2025

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) was not only very enjoyable but also marked a significant milestone in our organisational journey over the past year. The event began with introducing our 2025 Charity of the Year, Meltham Wildlife Rescue and a comprehensive recap of the previous 12 months, during which we reviewed our meetings, fundraising efforts, and the various reports presented by our President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Each of these reports provided valuable insights into our achievements, challenges, and the overall progress of our initiatives, allowing members to appreciate the hard work that has gone into our collective efforts. During the meeting, we also took the important step of electing our President and Committee members for the upcoming term. We expressed our heartfelt gratitude and bid farewell to those members who are stepping down from the Committee, acknowledging their dedication and contributions that have significantly shaped our community. In addition to the formal proceedings, we enjoyed updates from our various subgroups, which showcased the diversity of projects and initiatives currently underway. These updates not only highlighted the accomplishments of each subgroup but also fostered a sense of collaboration and shared purpose among members. The informal discussions that followed allowed us ample time to engage with fellow members, fostering connections and exchanging ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening filled with camaraderie, reflection, and optimism for the future. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to making this AGM a success. Your involvement is what makes our organisation thrive, and we look forward to another fruitful year ahead.
