Members of the Pratty Flower and Veg group visited RHS Bridgewater on a glorious day. We began with a guided tour of the Walled Garden. The knowledgeable guide explained how the garden has been built around the Worsley estate before showing us how the walled garden had been divided into 4 sections. It has areas to be used by the community, an area for healing, a stunning paradise garden and a kitchen garden with orchard. We took a lunch break before exploring further when we discovered the beautiful Chinese stream-side garden and some of us visited the rare breed pigs - which were a big hit. It is certainly a place to be recommended and I am sure we will visit again.
